A antique rare tortoiseshell and 9 carat rose gold compact. An elegant piece made in the early 1900’s. The compact features a beautiful warm coloured tortoiseshell body complemented by a rose gold mount giving the piece an attractive combination of rich brown and rosey tones. The compact opens to reveal its original interior making it both a fascinating piece of antique history and a wonderfully wearable accessory. An especially appealing feature is the gold bale at the top allowing the compact to be worn as a pendant on a chain.
